About Travel Keepers
Travel Keepers is a safety intelligence tool built for women who travel alone — and for everyone who's been told the world isn't theirs to walk freely.
Travel Keepers started with a question. Why do women travelers spend hours cross-referencing government travel advisories, forum threads, and Google Maps reviews to figure out whether a neighborhood is safe? The information exists. It just lives in a thousand places, and nobody has put it in one place.
So we built it. You open the app, type a city, and twenty seconds later you have a briefing: neighborhoods, transit, the edge cases worth knowing, the numbers to call if something goes sideways. Sources linked. No fluff.
The briefings are free, always, and the women reading them don't pay. That's the promise.
Why not just post in a Facebook group?
Communities like Girls LOVE Travel and Solo Female Travelers have lived experience we can't match — that's why our v2 plan formalizes it through Keepers.
Today, Travel Keepers is the structured layer for the moment before you post: a sourced, citable briefing in under twenty seconds, when you don't have time to wait for replies.
The briefing is on us. The hotel pays the bill.
Travel Keepers is free to read, always. We make money the honest way, and when you're ready to book, we'll point you to hotels, tours, and experiences we've screened for safety signals, and we earn a small commission if you book through us. You never pay more. The burden is never on you.
What this means: we are never incentivized to make a place look safer than it is. A paid placement would compromise the thesis of the whole app. If the research flags it, we flag it, even if it costs us the booking.
